Calculator use and project inputs

The current calculators perform their arithmetic in the browser. ProjectFigures does not intentionally send raw calculator measurements, prices, rates or other project values as analytics event payloads.

The analytics boundary accepts only a defined set of event names and categorical detail fields. Unknown fields are dropped, and numeric-like string values are rejected by the analytics sanitizer.

Necessary local preferences

Necessary calculator operation remains available without optional analytics or session diagnostics. Interface choices such as theme and calculator market or unit settings operate locally in the browser.

Persistent storage is used only where a feature implements it. For example, the current site can store the theme preference as pf_theme, and the concrete calculator can store lightweight market and currency preferences as pf_market andpf_currency.

Privacy choices

ProjectFigures stores the current optional-purpose choices in browser local storage underpf_privacy_v1. The stored record contains separate boolean choices for analytics, session diagnostics and advertising-related readiness.

All three optional purposes default to off when no valid saved choice exists. A malformed or incomplete stored privacy record is not treated as consent.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics are configuration-gated and tied to the Analytics choice. Their scripts are not enabled by this runtime when analytics consent is off or when the required provider configuration is absent or invalid.

ProjectFigures configures GA4 advertising signals as denied in the current analytics adapter.

Optional session diagnostics

Microsoft Clarity is controlled by the separate Session diagnostics choice and valid project configuration. Before diagnostics activation, calculator workspaces, forms, result panels and explicitly marked project-value surfaces are masked for Clarity.

Advertising is currently off

The privacy interface includes a separate advertising-related preference so the product can keep purpose choices distinct. That preference does not activate advertising in the current release: the advertising runtime is hard-off and ad measurement remains ineligible.

Provider-controlled processing

When you enable an optional provider-backed purpose and valid provider configuration is present, that provider may process the measurement data it receives under its own service configuration and policies. This repository does not set or promise a universal provider retention duration.

Data minimization and changing your choice

ProjectFigures limits analytics events to a defined schema and keeps calculator-sensitive values out of that event boundary. You can reopen Privacy choices from the footer on any page and change or reject optional purposes. Revoking a purpose removes the corresponding provider script from the active page runtime.

Scope of this policy

This page describes the privacy behavior implemented for the current ProjectFigures V1 site. It does not claim certification or blanket compliance with a particular jurisdiction's privacy law, and it does not invent a legal entity, address, retention schedule or contact channel that the product does not currently provide.
